The Pomeranian Club of Ontario operating under the auspices of the Canadian Kennel Club through out the province of Ontario is a non-profit organization dedicated to the enjoyment and improvement of the Pomeranian dog. The goals and objectives of the Club's are:
a) to encourage and aid in the development of purebred Pomeranians by providing information related to their care, exhibiting and breeding;
b) to educate members and the public of the benefits of purebred Pomeranians through our activities, periodic meetings, and special events; and
c) to encourage and assist
members and the public to compete in a sportsmanlike manner in
competitions, Specialties, Matches and Boosters, as sanctioned
by the Canadian Kennel Club.
The Pomeranian Club of
Ontario publishes
a quarterly newsletter titled "The Pomeranian NEWS and
VIEWS" for the membership to disseminate information
regarding Club business, articles of interest and other features
regarding our breed.
The Executive Board consists
of five officers: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer,
and Past-President, and four Directors which manage the Club for
two year terms.
